There is no harm in doubt and skepticism; for it is through these that new discoveries are made.
Richard Feynman (1918-1988)

Since 1937, Town Hall Los Angeles has been devoted to promoting civic participation and awareness through an open public discussion on issues of significance to the citizens of Los Angeles, the United States, and the World.

In 1987, we further secured our commitment by bringing the next generation to the discussion. With the creation of the American Heritage Student Program, Angelenos of all ages joined the conversation. Middle school, high school, and college-aged students seize the opportunity to look a business or political leader in the eye and ask a question that directly impacts their world, and our collective futures. Speakers, our members, and press often comment that the best questions come from the Students.
