Rachel Sanders is an attorney in the downtown Los Angeles office of Allen Matkins, a premier California real estate and business law firm. Rachel’s practice focuses on all aspects of business litigation, with an emphasis on commercial real estate litigation. She represents purchasers, sellers, lessees and lessors, developers and owners, and has extensive experience prosecuting and defending large-scale contract and partnership disputes. Rachel also has extensive experience with lending-related litigation, including bankruptcy adversary matters.

Rachel serves on the Executive Committee for the Real Property Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association and also as Chair for the General Real Property Subsection. She is a member of the National Cannabis Bar Association.

Prior to joining Allen Matkins, Rachel worked as a staff attorney at The Alliance for Children’s Rights in the NextStep Program for transition-aged foster youth. In that position she obtained benefits for disabled youth and participated in legislative and systemic responses to the needs of youth aging out of the foster care system. Rachel received her B.A. from University of California, Santa Cruz and her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
