The American Red Cross is our nation’s leading emergency response and blood services organization. In her decade of service as President & CEO, Gail McGovern has helped the Red Cross achieve financial stability and instituted a number of transformative initiatives. Join us on Tuesday, February 12, as McGovern gives an overview of the 138-year old American institution – with a special focus on recent disaster response efforts – and talks about how the Red Cross has embraced innovation and change to become a 21st century humanitarian response organization.

Gail McGovern joined the American Red Cross as President and Chief Executive Officer in 2008, and has taken a strong leadership role at the nation’s leading emergency response and blood services organization.
